Murphy Dale Wall Bed
We’re not sure if this fantastic and beautiful wall bed is named after the former Major League Baseball player Dale Murphy (who went to high school not far from Broadway Furniture!), but the Murphy Dale wall bed is a queen-sized wonder. It’s a splendid example of the type of craftsmanship and artistry that you can expect from Wallbeds Company.
When closed in its upright position, the Murphy Dale is 65 inches wide, 17 inches deep, and 90 inches tall. When open, it stretches out to an expansive 86 inches. It accepts up to a 12-inch-thick mattress (not included).
The best part (aside from its style and comfort): The mattress sits inside a wood box, and the bedding is tucked in and stays on when the bed is closed. (You’ll have to remove any pillows, natch.) The wood mattress box has interior slats that act as box springs.
Finally, open and close the bed via a safe, effective piston-life mechanism. Once it’s partially opened, your Murphy Dale floats down the rest of the way to the floor.

Murphy Lodge Wall Bed
We often run out of superlatives to describe products made by Wallbeds Company. Another good example: The Murphy Lodge Wall Bed. Similar in style to the Dale (above), it’s made with farm-grown, European beech solids and domestic veneers. The Lodge features superior durability and beauty.
One helpful quirk: A notch in The Lodge’s cabinet back accommodates most baseboards. As with so many items at Broadway Furniture, this item comes in a variety of configurations and different finishes.
